dr. bronner’s soap

Feature product this week is Dr. Bronner’s soaps. They make castile soap, which is basically an olive oil based soap made similar to how they used to make soap in Castile, Spain. It is very gentle and uses oils as the base, meaning the soap leaves your skin silky smooth and very nourished.

The ingredients are so simple, including water, coconut oil, olive oil, hemp oil, jojoba oil…..and then extra essential oils depending on the scent. All organic, non-GMO, vegan.

I have the citrus and lavender scents, but they also offer eucalyptus, almond, unscented, tea tree, rose and peppermint. The citrus scent is heavenly and soooo clean smelling. The cool thing is you really get your money’s worth because the soap can be used for literally everything. Their website says you can use it for shaving, brushing your teeth, rinsing fruit, laundry, all-purpose cleaning, washing windows, scrubbing toilets, washing dogs, controlling dust mites, killing ants and aphids….etc.

Here I am using it in action:

As dish soap!

As a body wash in the shower AND as a shampoo!

As a hand soap!

As a surface and floor wash! Just dilute with some water. I never wash the floors….but if I did, I would use this soap 🙂

  1. Hey Emily, enjoy your blog. Very interesting, especially today, I love Dr. Bronner’s product, particularly his unfiltered coconut oil. I also use his soap, almond scented. Keep up the good work.
