A rich, chocolatey shake with cool mint – a perfect afternoon pick-me-up and healthy way to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day 🙂
– almond milk (or whatever kind of milk you use) – 1 cup or more, depending how much you want to make. I usually add lots of water too
– peppermint extract – 1 lid full (use the tiny lid on top of the bottle, haha!)
– cocoa powder and/or chocolate protein powder – today I used 1 tsp cocoa powder and 1 sample sachet of my hemp chocolate protein powder
– maple syrup – to taste. You could also use a banana
***I also pictured cinnamon here by mistake – turns out cinnamon and mint aren’t great together…..for future reference only use one or the other! You could also add maca powder to this recipe if desired. Maca root powder offers extra energy, vitality and adrenal support.***
Add all ingredients to a blender and mix! I also added a tbsp of almond butter for extra taste, protein and fat. Enjoy!
