Warrior ChocolateDSC07896
1 cup almond milk (or other non-dairy alternative)
1 cup water
4 Medjool dates, pitted
1 heaping tablespoon cocoa powder
1 tsp or 1 tbsp maca powder (depending on if you have tried maca before, some people experience a bit of stomach upset when using too much)
1 tbsp hemp hearts
1 tbsp almond butter
* 1 dash cayenne pepper (*can also substitute for a dash of cinnamon)

Place all ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth. Pour into a glass and enjoy! You can also heat this baby up on the stove once it’s mixed for a cozier energy boost in the winter.

cocoa powder – pure chocolate flavour and rich in magnesium – stay alert, but relaxed.
maca powder – a boost of energy and beneficial for balancing hormones and strengthening libido
hemp hearts and almond butter – sources of omega 3 and 6 essential fatty acids which help balance hormones, reduce inflammation, boost brainpower and satisfy hunger.
cayenne pepper – improves circulation, helps balance blood pressure, sparks metabolism (ideal for those looking to lose weight), wards off colds, and aids in digestion.
cinnamon powder – improves micro-circulation (to tiny capillaries like in your eyes), helps balance blood sugars, warms your body (great for winter) and is a natural anti-fungal spice

Get going, health warriors!
